Verizon Wireless and the Builders Exchange, Inc. are now offering a new discount program to all Builders Exchange members. The program covers both Verizon Wireless and former Alltel customers and will extend a 15% discount to any generally available voice or data calling plan with a monthly access fee of $34.99 per month or higher on corporate liable lines.

“This program will save many of our members $100’s per month,” said Gregg Mazurek, Executive Director of the Builders Exchange, Inc. “Our initial research showed many of our members spend $400 -$1,000 per month for their wireless service and a very high percentage of our members are already Verizon Wireless customers”.

Existing Customer Contracts?
The program does not require existing customers to extend or alter their current contracts in any way. They simply have to sign and execute a Verizon Wireless Member Agreement which they can do on-line to participate in the program.

Can Employees Participate?
“Yes.” Said Laurel Screptock, Operations Manager of the Builders Exchange, Inc. “Once the member company has registered for the program, all of their employees with contracts in their names can also register and receive a 10% discount on their calling plans of $34.99 per month or higher as well. If the Verizon Wireless phone or data line is not currently in the employee’s name it can be easily transferred to allow them to enjoy the discount”.

Not a Verizon Wireless Customer?
Even if the member company is not a Verizon customer, they can still register in the program, which will allow all of their employees to access the employee discount for their personal Verizon Wireless phones. And the program also extends a 25% discount off all qualifying accessories and equipment.

Non-Members Spending $375.00 Or More?
“All non-member companies should realize that monthly calling plans of $375.00 or more will result in savings greater than the cost of basic membership at the Builders Exchange.” Added Mazurek. “And, basic membership includes a full state-wide reporting service that reports on more projects (15,000) than any of our competitors. We are very excited about the ability of this program to financially allow the smaller contractors and suppliers to access reports that they could not afford in the past.”
